Rock Climbing 2015 On the 25th of July i decide to pack up and head for the mountains and do some rock climbing... We drove from Johannesburg all the way to magaliesburg. It's about 50 minutes to get there. Well worth the drive... We met up with Mark Gray, very cool guy, very helpful and skilled. Mark charges R250 for a great session including drinks and snacks. After check in at the main gate and signing various forms (Incase you die and stuff) we took a ride in the back of a bakkie to the base of the rock climb...Was rather interesting. We then took a 20 minute hike to the mountaing edge...the route was very dry due to the winter and all, but it maintained a very unique charm and plesentness. I loved it. When we got to the mountain base, we all got geared up and ready to climb. Mark was very professional. I had absolute confidence in him. He showed me how to tie a knot, how to climb and basics one would need to know. I won't lie, i found rock climb

We took a scroll down the beach, to let the food settle. It was all very pretty! Along the way we met some locals doing there fishing run. After a long walk, i decided to rock a hamok and cool down. We then headed for Kakum national park. Its green, very green! We paid about 40 Ghana Cedi to go along the canopy walk, it was all very exciting. After all that we headed for Hans Cottage Botel for a spot of food. We had the most interesting experience. We paid R70 pp for an electrified campsite. We had a braai, set up camp, brought along a Telescope for star gazing, had a lekker fire going, roasted marshmellows. It was great! The next morning we went exploring around the camp area. The river was very bueatiful, so was the surrounding. We set of the a popular hiking trail called Shelter Rock to summit the Magaliesburg Mountain Range...but first, selfies. We finally arrived The hike sat at R60 pp. We took the 8 km hike up and down the mountain. The challenge was not the distance, it was the elevation of the mountain, plus the heat an
