Durban Road Trip

Weekend away with my friends down in durbs, Lots of fun!
My friend is too afraid to fly, so we had to take an over night bus from Johannesburg. Started from Park Statio...

Arrived in durban totally bushed. Took down a coffee and hit a 2 hour drive to richards bay.


 Day 1

 We got on the road and headed for a small town called st Lucia...beatiful and quite place that is.

 We then set for a Nature reserve call Isimangaliso Wet Land, it's one of 8 south african world heritage sites. So you definately have to go there!
The entrance was about R200 for the car and occupants.




The wild life was quite impressive!







We drove on to Cape Vidal were we saw the beautifullest view!







We set of for the beach 


Followed by a good quality braai

In the evening we went go karting, which was at R70 per 3 lap race. Great fun


Day 2
Day 2 was chilled, didn't do much.

 We had breakfast by the beach


Followed by a drive around richards bay - very small town.


And well, that was it, i had to take the long drive back to Johannesburg after what was a great 2 days...arrived monday morning tired and had to dash to work...but it was worth it

Mapungubwe, at the very tip of the northern most part of south africa. what a beatiful place. I took the trip with 3 of my friends. We drove in from thohoyandou via makhado. Along which is an awesome road - The N1. Along the road there is a tunnel and a stop site for great photos.   The road heading to musina via the N1 is breate taking, the landscape, the mountains. Its all increadible   Finally, after a long 4 hour drive we made it to the site Mapungubwe is a national park, as such we had to pay a conservation fee of about R60 pp. Which wasn't bad. We also paid an extra R190 pp for the Heritage tour. Which you definately must do! The wild life obviously does not match up to the kruger national park (Nothing does) - But it was spectecular none the less. The Tree top walk was included in the cover charge. it was great. Magaliesburg Camping Trip

Magaliesburg Camping Trip I decided to round up my brothers and cousins for a night and day worth of camping. This is what happened! We preped up for the hour long drive from johannesburg to magaliesburg We slept over at an overnight camp site called Magalies Sleepy river. A very cool, well resourced place. We paid R70 pp for an electrified campsite. We had a braai, set up camp, brought along a Telescope for star gazing, had a lekker fire going, roasted marshmellows. It was great! The next morning we went exploring around the camp area. The river was very bueatiful, so was the surrounding. We set of the a popular hiking trail called Shelter Rock to summit the Magaliesburg Mountain Range...but first, selfies. Soweto Towers Bungee Jump

Orlando, Soweto Towers So i decide, hey - lets get the blood flowing right...i hit up google and bamm! Bungee jumping, i'm like why not right. So i drive down to orlando, soweto bungee towers. They converted two old power towers into an awesome adrineline site. I went to the reception, Paid a R480 admin fee + an optional R100 for photo's. They don't allow cameras on the towers, so if you want a good selfie, you have to pay for the photos We started wit prep from the ground and got transported up by an elivator - That's when the fear started #HeartRacing  From the top of the towers the view is amazing... As you wait for your fate to be decide, don't look down! - You will start questioning yourself and start thinking, what am i doing here - i could DIE!
