Mpumalanga Road Trip

So in December 2013 i decided to take my mom out on a little trip accross the panerama route in mpumalanga. This is what happened:
We drove along the R36 heading in from Thohoyandou, Limpopo. The scenery was breathe taking, Second to none. Along the route was the wonderful jg strydom tunnel.
 





The First stop was at the beautiful 3 rondavels along the Bylde river canon. The entrance was just R10 at the gate. This got the car and 5 people in.




From there we went on to the Potholes, the entrance was a bit pricy compared to the other places. I paid about R170 for all 5 of us plus the car.





We visited numerous waterfalls, entrances to this places was R10 at the gate




The Best thing to do though is definately the Graskop Big Swing. Graskop is a small little town where we slept over, bueatiful and quite. Just a 2 minute drive heading out of town, there is the big swing. You absolutely need to do it. I paid R300 for a single jump and it's R250 for a two person tendem.





The very last spot we visited was the echo caves. Had a lot of interesting history. Entrance was R60 pp - The tour guide was very well informed.




And that about wrapped it up...Mpumalanga was definately worth the visit.

Mapungubwe, at the very tip of the northern most part of south africa. what a beatiful place. I took the trip with 3 of my friends. We drove in from thohoyandou via makhado. Along which is an awesome road - The N1. Along the road there is a tunnel and a stop site for great photos.   The road heading to musina via the N1 is breate taking, the landscape, the mountains. Its all increadible   Finally, after a long 4 hour drive we made it to the site Mapungubwe is a national park, as such we had to pay a conservation fee of about R60 pp. Which wasn't bad. We also paid an extra R190 pp for the Heritage tour. Which you definately must do! The wild life obviously does not match up to the kruger national park (Nothing does) - But it was spectecular none the less. The Tree top walk was included in the cover charge. it was great. Magaliesburg Camping Trip

Magaliesburg Camping Trip I decided to round up my brothers and cousins for a night and day worth of camping. This is what happened! We preped up for the hour long drive from johannesburg to magaliesburg We slept over at an overnight camp site called Magalies Sleepy river. A very cool, well resourced place. We paid R70 pp for an electrified campsite. We had a braai, set up camp, brought along a Telescope for star gazing, had a lekker fire going, roasted marshmellows. It was great! The next morning we went exploring around the camp area. The river was very bueatiful, so was the surrounding. We set of the a popular hiking trail called Shelter Rock to summit the Magaliesburg Mountain Range...but first, selfies. Soweto Towers Bungee Jump

Orlando, Soweto Towers So i decide, hey - lets get the blood flowing right...i hit up google and bamm! Bungee jumping, i'm like why not right. So i drive down to orlando, soweto bungee towers. They converted two old power towers into an awesome adrineline site. I went to the reception, Paid a R480 admin fee + an optional R100 for photo's. They don't allow cameras on the towers, so if you want a good selfie, you have to pay for the photos We started wit prep from the ground and got transported up by an elivator - That's when the fear started #HeartRacing  From the top of the towers the view is amazing... As you wait for your fate to be decide, don't look down! - You will start questioning yourself and start thinking, what am i doing here - i could DIE!
